The worst of times

We are living in the worst of times while others live in the best of times. Some people are unaffected by the economic downturn because they caused it and planned for it by having bailouts handy and politicians, lawmakers, and judges bought and paid for. They continue the gilded life of kings even as more and more suffer for their pleasure. The paradigm was set in stone early in another age. We simply inherit the madness of wealth and poverty, war without end, and peace reserved for heaven. The times need changing as it has needed changing for generations. While we allow these injustices in the name of justice and lawlessness in the name of law we become embedded in the change for the worst even as we espouse change for betterment. We are responsible for all the bad changes that brought us here to this point in our common history unless we put positive effort into the good changes that will bring us back to sanity and humanity. Each is responsible for his or her own actions. Would you take an action that bolsters the current status quo or will you take action to replace the injustice with justice, the rush to inhumanity back to a shared humanity once again?
